Dubai is launching a new bus route that will take tourists from the metro to the famous beach. It is planned that the route will operate from Friday to Sunday.

This way, the authorities will optimize the mobility of passengers who need to get to this destination. The new route is especially valuable for beach lovers in Al Mamzar, khaleejtimes reports.

Buses on the W20 route started running on February 9, according to the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The bus runs from 17:00 to 23:00, departing every half hour from the Stadium metro station.

In addition, the authority intends to optimize other bus routes to "improve the quality of daily passenger transportation, providing smoother and more comfortable trips to various destinations across the emirate."

Which routes in Dubai will be changed

Route 11B will be changed to Route 11 to improve the usability of the bus. Additionally, Routes 16A and 16B will be modified and renamed as Routes 16 and 25 respectively. Route 16 will start from Al Rashdiya Bus Station and head to Al Avir, while Route 25 will start from the Gold Souk Bus Station with a destination in Al Rashdiya.

For the convenience of passengers, the F62 route will be expanded to include Dubai Festival City and Al Gharhoud district.

Flight C04 will be extended to Mohammed bin Rashid Library. Routes 103 and 106 will provide a direct and continuous connection from the main stations to the Global Village.

The E303 route will pass through Al Ittihad Street in Sharjah, opening up new opportunities for convenient movement around the city. Along with these changes, routes 16A, 16B and 64A will be suspended.

The RTA is also implementing travel time changes for 13 bus routes, including 5, 7, 62, 81, 110, C04, C09, E306, E307A, F12, F15, F26 and SH1.
