This summer, Norway became especially attractive for tourists from Europe who were seeking cool and picturesque places for vacation. The country's favorable climate and unique nature attracted many travelers, which helped Widerøe achieve record-breaking performance in July.

Many European tourists choose Norway for its cool climate, which offers a respite from the summer heat in other parts of Europe. This season, the Lofoten Islands and other popular destinations in the country drew a large number of visitors with their natural beauty, fresh air, and stunning landscapes.

This summer saw a significant increase in the number of tourists from Europe. Forced to leave their hot countries such as Germany, France, and Spain, many tourists sought the cool and fresh air of Norway. The favorable exchange rate of the Norwegian krone made the country even more attractive to foreign tourists, allowing them to get more value for their money.

A Record-Breaking Summer for Widerøe

Widerøe, the oldest aviation operator in Norway, recorded its highest performance in July. The highest load factor became the highest monthly figure in the company's history. Widerøe's Commercial Director, Christian Skaug, noted that these results were made possible by the increased flow of tourists and the dedicated work of the team. He expressed gratitude to the employees for their efforts during the busy summer period.

The cool climate and natural beauty of Norway continue to attract tourists from all over Europe. Thanks to the increased number of passengers, Widerøe achieved record-breaking performance in July, underscoring its important role in the development of tourism in the country.
