Passenger refused to change seats on a plane with an annoying mother: the network supported him
When it comes to traveling on long-haul flights, most people do everything they can to make sure they're comfortable in the air. To achieve this, they may wear baggy clothes, buy a travel pillow, or even book a specific seat in advance.
And that's exactly what one man decided to do when traveling on an 11-hour flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel. However, he explained that he had barely sat down in his seat when a woman approached him, asking if he would switch seats so that she could sit there with her child. He shared this story on Reddit.
"Before I could lift my bag over my head, a woman came up and told me that I had sat in a seat where you can put a bassinet and asked if I could switch with her. "I asked her where she was sitting and it was a few rows back, not by the window, so I said: "No thanks, I paid extra for this particular seat," the man said.
A stranger sitting next to him supported the passenger, saying, "It's your seat, you paid for it, it's okay."
Online users also supported the man. According to them, if this particular window seat was so important to this mom, she would have booked it in advance. "I'm sure there are people who do this on every flight," one commenter wrote.
