Pegasus Airlines Initiates Flights from Edinburgh to Istanbul with Attractive Introductory Fares
Pegasus Airlines is set to launch its first-ever service from Edinburgh Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), starting on June 27, with flights scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays. This new route marks a significant expansion for the airline and introduces a direct link between Scotland and Türkiye, enhancing Edinburgh's connectivity to not only Türkiye but also to Pegasus Airlines' extensive Middle East network.
The inaugural flights will be serviced by the modern A320neo and A321neo aircraft, ensuring a comfortable journey throughout the year. As a special introductory offer, Pegasus Airlines is rolling out exceptionally discounted fares, starting at just £1 plus taxes, available on a limited number of seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kate Sherry, Chief Commercial Officer (Aero) at Edinburgh Airport, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Pegasus Airlines. "This new addition to our airline offerings provides passengers with more choices and easier access to one of the world's most captivating cities, Istanbul," said Sherry. The airport is committed to working closely with Pegasus to ensure the success of this new route.
Onur Dedeköylü, Pegasus Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer, also commented on the new service. "Launching these flights not only connects two vibrant and culturally rich cities but also enhances our network, providing passengers with unique travel experiences," Dedeköylü stated.
