A popular British campground has banned vacations with XL Bully dogs
The British campsite Shell Island in North Wales, where thousands of tourists vacation every year, has banned XL Bully dogs. Due to complaints about these pets, new rules were introduced, so some visitors may have to cancel their vacation.
This step caused a mixed reaction from visitors. Some people thought the rules were discriminatory, while others were happy not to have to vacation with dogs of this breed, The Mirror reports.
The statement to tourists reads: "You will now be asked to specify your dog's breed when booking online or on arrival. We know there will be some people who will be disappointed by this decision, but we have to follow the instructions we have received."
Several breeds of dogs will be banned at once: XL Bull Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Brazilian Dog.
