Qatar Airways Partners with UEFA Champions League Until 2030

Qatar Airways has secured a major partnership with the UEFA Champions League, becoming the official airline sponsor of the prestigious European football competition until 2030. Announced on September 19, 2024, in Doha, this deal strengthens Qatar Airways' position in Europe and expands its portfolio of global sports sponsorships, building on its previous sponsorships of UEFA EURO 2020 and UEFA EURO 2024.

The partnership includes sponsorship rights to several UEFA events, including the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and UEFA Futsal Champions League. The deal also extends benefits to Qatar Duty Free, Hamad International Airport, and Qatar Privilege Club, further aligning the Qatar Airways Group with UEFA.

To promote the partnership, Qatar Airways launched a campaign featuring Brazilian football legend Ricardo Kaka and English icon Rio Ferdinand, highlighting the airline’s Business Class Qsuite. The airline’s commitment to football is also reflected in its partnerships with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), showcasing its dedication to global football fans.

As part of the agreement, Qatar Airways will offer UEFA Champions League fans special promotions, including discounts of up to 12% on flight fares and exclusive travel packages, making it easier for fans to attend matches across Europe.
