Severe Weather Dislodges American Airlines Boeing 737-800 at Dallas Fort Worth Airport
Severe weather struck Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) early this morning, causing significant disruptions. An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 was dislodged from its gate due to strong winds, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred as winds reached nearly 80 miles per hour, pushing the parked aircraft away from the jetbridge. Security camera footage shows the plane being swept back with its front door open, indicating it was preparing for a flight. Despite the dramatic scene, the aircraft appears undamaged, and American Airlines confirmed that their maintenance teams are conducting thorough inspections and repairs as necessary.
