InterContinental Singapore will pay compensation to tourists whose vacation was ruined by rain. Thus, as part of the Rain Resist Bliss package, guests will be able to refund the cost of staying in a room for one night if the rain prevented the planned activities.

Those guests who paid for junior suites, suites and presidential suites will be able to receive compensation. It is reported by CNN Travel.

The InterContinental press service said that the money will be provided if "the duration of the rain exceeds 120 total minutes during any 4-hour period during daylight hours." In addition, in order to be eligible for the Rain Resist Bliss package, a customer must pay a minimum of S$850 (USD 633) per night.

In the future, if the hotel approves the payment, the compensation will be provided in the form of a voucher equal to the full cost of the room per night. Guests will be able to redeem the voucher directly at the InterContinental Hotel within the next 6 months.

Earlier TravelWise reported that Thailand has allocated funds to compensate for emergencies that may occur to tourists.
