Lytham Festival 2024, scheduled from July 3rd to July 7th at Lytham Green, promises a stellar lineup with Hozier, Shania Twain, Rag 'N' Bone Man, and the Courteeners headlining. To accommodate the influx of attendees, special travel arrangements have been put in place, ensuring safe and convenient transportation to and from the festival.

This year, extra bus services will run between Blackpool and Lytham to cater to the festival crowd. Services 11 and 11B will provide direct routes from Blackpool Town Centre to Lytham, with additional buses operating throughout the afternoon to keep the traffic flowing smoothly.

Service 11 will transport passengers from Blackpool Town Centre through South Shore, Starr Gate, and St Annes, finally arriving at Lytham. Service 11B offers an alternative route via Revoe and Common Edge, also leading directly to the festival grounds.

For those arriving at Blackpool’s North Station, a short walk to Market Street connects to Services 11 and 11B. Alternatively, trams from North Station to Starr Gate will be available, where attendees can switch to a bus to complete their journey to Lytham.

Tram travelers can take advantage of additional buses from Starr Gate directly to Lytham. The bus stop is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the tram stop, ensuring an easy transition.

The Park and Ride service, sponsored by TK Maxx, is another convenient option for festival-goers. Located on South Promenade Green in Lytham St Annes, this service is just an 8-10 minute drive from the festival. The Park and Ride opens at 2pm, with the first shuttle bus departing at 3pm. Tickets for this service must be pre-purchased to guarantee availability.

Upon leaving the festival, the 'Blackpool Festival Flyer' service will be available. This collaboration with Blackpool Transport offers a direct route from the Lytham Festival transport hub on West Beach to various points in Blackpool, starting at 9:30pm and running until midnight. Tickets for this service must also be bought in advance.

A range of ticket options are available to suit different needs. The Group Day ticket costs £18 and allows unlimited travel for five people. The Lytham Festival Return ticket, priced at £4, covers round-trip travel from Blackpool Town Centre. A Day ticket, valid for unlimited tram and bus travel, is available for £6.60. Single journey tickets are priced at £2 for buses and £3.50 for trams.

Tickets can be purchased via the Blackpool Transport app, contactless payment on board, or with cash. The Tap, Cap & Go system ensures daily and weekly fare capping at £6.60 and £23, respectively.
