In a bid to bring laughter to the skies, SNICKERS, the renowned chocolate bar under Mars, Inc., has launched its latest campaign titled "Hungry Skies". Today marks the introduction of this global initiative, aiming to spotlight the humorous side of air travel by showcasing the quirky behavior exhibited by passengers and flight crews worldwide.

With SNICKERS long serving as the remedy for those moments of hunger-induced personality shifts, the "Hungry Skies" campaign seeks to position the chocolate bar as the essential snack for travelers facing the trials and tribulations of air transit.

Developed in collaboration with BBDO New York, part of Omnicom, the campaign presents a series of amusing scenarios, ranging from impromptu in-seat yoga sessions to the incessant pressing of call buttons and even unexpected encounters with emotional support animals, including snakes.

Rankin Carroll, Chief Brand Officer at Mars Snacking, emphasized the campaign's timeliness amidst the current surge in international tourism and the daily influx of air travelers. The campaign serves as a gentle reminder for hungry travelers to grab a SNICKERS and navigate the often tumultuous skies of travel with ease.

Kristin Clark, SVP Creative Director at BBDO, highlighted the campaign's inspiration drawn from the prevalence of viral in-flight videos capturing passengers' antics. Recognizing the synergy between SNICKERS' iconic "You're Not You When You're Hungry" messaging and the travel experience, the team saw an opportunity to extend the brand's reach into the realm of air travel.
