Snow in London for Christmas: meteorologists have given a hopeful forecast

For the first time in a while, London might experience snowfall before Christmas and New Year. New meteorological forecasts suggest a high likelihood of precipitation not only in the capital but also in most of the south of England.

According to the weather forecast, snow is expected to fall across the entire city, not limited to specific areas. This year, the chances of having a snowy view from the window for Christmas are higher than in previous years, according to data from the WX Charts weather forecaster as reported by MyLondon.

However, the forecast indicates that the precipitation may not be too heavy, which means that snowdrifts may not form on the roads. If the temperature remains above 0 degrees Celsius, the snow is likely to melt quickly.

The long-term forecast from WX Charts suggests that snow may cover London a few days before Christmas, with rain anticipated in the city on December 25.

Nevertheless, there is still a possibility of it turning to snow if the temperature drops closer to that time. Snow is also expected on December 28, with the forecast predicting 1 cm of solid precipitation per hour.

The temperature in London is currently dropping, and some monitors predict 0 degrees on December 25. If this trend continues, there is a chance of seeing a snowy blanket on the roads and buildings during the holiday.
