Southwest Airlines Revives Sunset on the Beach Events in Waikiki

Southwest Airlines is reintroducing the Sunset on the Beach movie screening series at Queen's Beach in Waikiki. Starting June 22, 2024, residents and tourists can enjoy free monthly movie screenings, live music, games, and food in a family-friendly environment.

The events will include themed movie nights, such as "Superhero Spotlight" featuring "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" and "Sunset Sing Along" featuring "Trolls: Band Together". This initiative marks a part of Southwest's celebration of five years of service to Hawaii.

Southwest Airlines began operations in Hawaii in 2019 and has since expanded to operate up to 90 flights a day, including interisland routes. The airline has contributed over $3.8 million to local nonprofits and plans to continue supporting community initiatives throughout the year.
