Southwest Airlines' Week of WOW: A Bonanza of Travel Deals for 2024

Southwest Airlines Co. has launched its Week of WOW 2024, a remarkable sales event offering up to 40% off on base fares, alongside enticing deals on hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages. This sale, one of the airline's most significant yearly events, runs from today through January 11, 2024, until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

Travelers can take advantage of reduced prices on flights scheduled between January 30 and May 22, 2024. This discount applies before government taxes and fees and is subject to limitations, exclusions and closing dates. Detailed information was published in the press release.

Jonathan Clarkson, Vice President of Marketing at Southwest Airlines, emphasizes the company's commitment to affordable fares and flexible travel policies. Southwest Airlines, known for its Hospitality and flexible policies such as bags fly free, no change or cancel fees, and non-expiring flight credits, serves 121 airports across its vast network.

Beyond flight deals, the Week of WOW extends to other travel necessities:

  • Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Cards from Chase: From January 8 to February 5, 2024, cardholders can earn enhanced points on Southwest purchases. New cardmembers also have the opportunity to earn bonus points after meeting initial spending requirements.
  • Points Mystery Offer: From January 8 to February 23, 2024, customers can enjoy a surprise discount on Rapid Rewards points purchases.
  • Rental Car Savings: A partnership with Budget allows customers to save significantly on car rentals and earn extra points, valid for bookings completed by May 15, 2024.
  • Hotel Points Boost: Through February 23, 2024, customers can earn quadruple the Rapid Rewards points on hotel stays.
  • Uplift Partnership: Those booking a Wanna Get Away Plus® ticket using Uplift from January 8 to February 23, 2024, will benefit from a special $0 down offer.
  • Vacation Package Deals: Substantial discounts on domestic and international packages, including Hawaii, are available through February 23, 2024.
