Strikes in Finland will affect local and long-distance transportation, as well as the paper industry and trade.
Bus drivers are taking part in a two-day strike by the Road Transport Workers' Union (AKT), paper workers are starting a three-day strike, and the Service Workers' Union (PAM) is striking in logistics centers, according to Yle.
Additionally, the strike is impacting the capital's subway, tram, and bus traffic in Helsinki, Turku, and Tampere.
According to the Industrial Union, approximately 60,000 paper workers are participating in the protests it has organized. Additionally, the Electricians' Union is initiating three-day strikes. Dock workers are also participating in the actions.
As a result of the protests, stores may experience shortages of certain goods.
