SWISS flies to Seoul for the first time
This year, SWISS International Air Lines (LX) will launch direct flights to the South Korean capital of Seoul. For the first time in LX's history, the airline will operate flights from Zurich Kloten Airport (ZRH) to Incheon International Airport (ICN).
The flights will be operated three times a week on Airbus A340 aircraft. The 11-hour 45-minute eastbound LX 122 will depart ZRH at 13:40 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrive at SEL at 08:25 on the following days. The LX 123 westbound flight will depart SEL on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 09:55 and arrive at ZRH at 16:50. This was reported by airwaysmag.com.
Seoul promises a unique travel experience for both explorers and culture lovers. In addition to tourists, the new SWISS Seoul service also serves business travelers. This route is important for both countries, as South Korea is Switzerland's fourth largest trading partner in Asia.
Currently, up to a dozen European airlines operate direct flights to South Korea.
