The popular KidZania attraction in London has abruptly closed its doors after eight years of operation. The extensive 75,000 sq. ft. entertainment center allowed children to role-play various adult professions in a small town.

This London-based attraction has been established in 30 locations worldwide, with six more set to open soon. Since its inception, it has drawn more than 2.5 million visitors, as reported by The Sun.

Inside KidZania was a "miniature city" featuring businesses such as banks, shops, and emergency services that children could learn to operate during the day.

KidZania wasn't only popular with kids; the adult nights were also well-received. Adults could relive their youth and spend the night playing in the town, which also offered drinks and food.

However, the Westfield shopping center in London confirmed that the KidZania attraction was compelled to close. In a video posted on the attraction's website, it is stated that after 8 years of operation and 2.5 million visitors, KidZania London is closing its doors until further notice.

"Thank you to our visitors, partners, landlord, and team for helping us to ignite the KidZania spirit. See you soon." The following message notes that anyone with existing reservations will be "contacted directly."

This year, the band's website was unavailable for booking, leading to speculation among fans that it had closed before the announcement was made. One person asked on X, formerly Twitter, "Are you closed? I'm trying to make a reservation but there are no seats available."

One mom wrote on Facebook: "I'm so shocked; my daughters both loved it." Another said: "We are heartbroken - we love Kidzania: we will miss it so much when we visit London."

Others expressed disappointment at not being allowed to book tickets in the future, and many mentioned having given season tickets and annual passes to their children for Christmas.
