An inventive tourist in Florida (USA) dug a canal on the beach that became a raging stream.
Initially, it was a narrow channel that seemed to connect two reservoirs at once. But later, the man widened it, and water literally gushed through it. The video was posted on Twitter by Mediavenir.
"Unusual: Americans dug a trench that became a raging stream on a Florida beach. The police had to intervene," the video description reads.
It does not specify how the story ended. In the comments, users note that this is not the first time such a channel has been dug there.
"They do this every year. This is water that accumulates upstream and would have flowed into the sea anyway. They were just having fun, speeding up the process. It's nothing alarming," they say.
