A 67-year-old traveler, who wishes to remain anonymous, spoke in detail about his experience aboard the world's largest nudist cruise ship, Bare Necessities.

The tourist noted that he was accompanied on the trip by his 61-year-old wife, who also turned out to be an experienced nudist.

According to his story on the Reddit platform, the ship's captain makes an announcement when passengers can take off their clothes. This usually happens about thirty minutes after leaving the port. The same goes in the opposite direction when the ship is approaching the shore.

Although the ship has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff always remains dressed.

Many commenters were curious about the kind of people who dare to take such an eccentric adventure. The author of the post answered that most tourists are between 50 and 70 years old, although there were also younger couples. As for nationalities, they are mostly Americans, although he has also met Europeans and Australians.

The man added that almost no one had phones with them outside the cabin, and he hadn't seen any photos from the cruise, except for those in which people voluntarily posed.

Reflecting on his experience, the nudist called it "amazing": the weather was great, and he had the unique opportunity to visit the beach naked, go to bars and dances. His partner also enjoyed it very much.

The Bare Necessities cruise sails from Tampa, Florida, USA, with stops in Mexico and Honduras.

As TravelWise reported, British citizens planning a cruise vacation are urged to check their travel insurance.
