Since its founding in 2019, WeGoTrip has offered thousands of audio tours created by destination experts in more than 250 cities around the world. Travellers buy tours on WeGoTrip's online marketplace, download and use the audio guides on demand.

Now, the startup is offering a new version of its product: fully personalized tours created and narrated by generative artificial intelligence, Phocuswire.com reports.

"In the changing landscape of the digital age, the transformation of the copy-centric economy into a customized content economy is already underway," Vitaly Vinogradov, WeGoTrip's Head of Product, said.

An example of this transformational journey is WeGoTrip's innovative presentation. As travellers increasingly seek unique, customized experiences that match their interests and preferences, the industry is on the verge of a profound paradigm shift.

Travellers book their tour on WeGoTrip's website: tours are currently available in more than 300 cities where the company already operates. Other locations can be booked too. Users set their parameters like duration from 1 to 12 hours, language, and additional preferences, such as a specific part of the city or a theme. For example, historical sites.

Each tour costs 35 euros for up to five people. After placing an order, WeGoTrip's artificial intelligence system, which uses ChatGPT, Llama, and other technologies, provides a step-by-step route with photos and a human-sounding voiceover.

As TravelWise reported, Google's AI tool can now help you plan your next vacation.
