A United Airlines flight from London to Newark was diverted to Maine due to the unruly behavior of two passengers who were likely intoxicated. One of them was detained.

Flight 883 landed in Bangor on Friday morning after the two men began to "disrupt the order", USA Today reports. There were no reports of injuries in the cabin.

"Law enforcement officials removed these passengers from the plane, and the flight continued to Newark Liberty International Airport. They will not be allowed to fly United Airlines in the future while we investigate this matter," United commented.

The Bangor Police Department's Airport Division, Customs and Border Protection, and the FBI collaborated as the flight was diverted to Bangor International Airport.

In consultation with the Maine State Attorney's Office, one person was detained and arrested.

"This incident has nothing to do with terrorism," the FBI said. "The investigation is ongoing, so we are unable to provide any further information at this time."

As previously reported by TravelWise, a United Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport due to a technical malfunction.
