United Airlines and Chase Bank Launch Flexible Reward Options for MileagePlus

United Airlines and Chase Bank have announced a new summer promotion for MileagePlus members, titled "Travelers Take Your Pick." From July 1 to September 30, customers can personalize their reward earnings, choosing from United® travel credit, Premier® qualifying points (PQP), or bonus miles. This initiative aims to cater to a wide range of travel styles and preferences, offering greater control over benefits.

MileagePlus members need to register and select their preferred bonus reward by September 2024 to participate. The promotion applies to all qualifying purchases made from July 1st. By providing a personalized approach to reward accumulation, United Airlines hopes to change how travelers engage with airline loyalty programs.

In addition to the summer promotion, customers can enjoy perks through United and Chase co-branded credit cards, such as the United Club Infinite Card. This card offers miles on purchases by the cardholder or authorized users, excluding balance transfers, cash advances, and certain gambling-related purchases. One notable benefit is access to United’s extensive network of United Club Lounges.

Meanwhile, low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is also offering a summer promotion. Frontier's giveaway allows potential flyers to enter by sharing their "Dream Vacation Destination" that Frontier flies to. The grand prize includes one year of free flights, with four $250 flight vouchers each month for 12 months. Additionally, 100 families will each receive four round-trip flights as four $250 flight vouchers for their vacation. Winners are responsible for taxes and fees when using their vouchers.

This summer, both United Airlines and Frontier Airlines are providing unique promotions aimed at enhancing the travel experience and offering more value to their customers.
