Holi is a traditional Indian holiday that marks merry festivities and a burst of colours. During this festival, there is no chance to get out of this diversity completely clean as colours spill out from all corners, causing a smile and happiness.

However, in addition to a wide palette of colours, this event is accompanied by delicious food and sweets. The Times of India has told us what exactly you can taste at Holi.

Badam burfi

This festive delicacy has a thick consistency, sweet taste, and a pleasant aroma of saffron and cardamom.

Gujiya

These traditional sweets have been familiar to the locals since childhood. They have a crispy shell and a delicious filling.

Gulkand shrikhand pies

A traditional delicacy with the flavour of gulkand, fragrant rose jam and Greek yogurt, it is loved by everyone and adds a special atmosphere to the holiday.

Instant carrot halva

This dessert is made from grated carrots, melted butter, milk, and aromatic spices such as saffron and cardamom. It is served hot and cold.
