Starting from June 23, 2024, Norwich public transport will undergo notable changes, enhancing travel convenience and connectivity for residents and visitors alike. These changes aim to streamline travel routes, improve service frequency, and introduce new connections, making it easier for travelers to navigate the city and its surroundings. With these updates, both locals and tourists can look forward to a more efficient and enjoyable travel experience in and around Norwich.

The Turquoise Line X13 will see a significant upgrade, offering faster and more direct routes between Attleborough and Norwich via the A11. This service extension will now start and end at Norwich Rail Station, making it more convenient for travelers planning day trips to London or attending matches at Carrow Road. For those visiting Norwich, this means quicker and more efficient travel options, reducing the hassle of navigating through the city.

To accommodate weekday commuters and travelers, additional X13 buses will depart from Attleborough to Norwich at 7:45 AM and 9:25 AM. Return trips from Norwich to Attleborough will be available at 4:10 PM and 5:15 PM. On Saturdays, the X13 service will operate hourly, with buses leaving Attleborough Queen's Square every hour from 8:40 AM to 4:40 PM, and from Norwich Rail Station every hour from 9:40 AM to 5:40 PM. This makes weekend travel simpler for tourists exploring the region.

Moreover, an early morning journey on Route 13 will be introduced, departing Attleborough Queen's Square at 6:10 AM and Wymondham Cross at 6:25 AM, reaching Norwich by 6:53 AM. This early service is perfect for early risers and business travelers needing to start their day in the city. The rest of the Route 13 schedule remains unchanged, with buses running every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays, ensuring reliable transport options for all.

In addition to the enhancements on the Turquoise Line, a new service, Green Line 17, will be launched. This route will connect St Stephen's Street, Castle Meadow, Yarmouth Road, and Broadland Gate, with buses operating up to every hour. The Green Line 17 will run as a one-way loop around the Broadland Gate development, offering new connections to the city center and supporting the existing electric bus network. For visitors staying at Broadland Gate, this new service offers a seamless travel option to explore Norwich's attractions and landmarks.
