There are countries that will either send you home before you unpack, or fine you or even jail you for carrying sex toys in your luggage.

For example, if you are caught with a sex toy in Thailand, you could spend up to three years in prison or pay a fine of up to R25,000, or both, according to The Citizen.

When you visit Saudi Arabia, make sure you don't have any contraband: no naughty magazines, revealing lingerie, bikinis or sex toys. Anything deemed inappropriate could result in deportation or imprisonment.

The Maldives will also send you home if they find sex toys in your bags. The same rules apply to Vietnam. And although it is not illegal in India, finding such things in your luggage or displaying them in public will definitely get you in trouble.

Spain also has restrictions. For publicly displaying an inflatable sex toy, you will receive a whopping 600 euros fine.
