Wizz Air Expands Naples Routes with New Travel Destinations
Wizz Air is set to expand its network in Southern Italy with four new flight connections departing from Naples starting October 2025. Flights will connect the city to Chișinău (Moldova), Brașov (Romania), and Tel Aviv (Israel), while the airline’s seasonal service to Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) will now operate year-round. This expansion follows the decision to base a second Airbus A321neo aircraft at Naples Airport.
Flights to Chișinău will begin on 15 October, followed by Brașov on 16 October and Tel Aviv on 28 October. The newly extended service to Sharm El Sheikh will also commence on 16 October. These routes will operate between two and four times weekly, offering fares from €24.99. This move raises Wizz Air’s Naples-based destinations to eleven and boosts regional connectivity to eight countries.
With these new routes and the addition of an Airbus A321neo aircraft to our Naples base, we will have 45 weekly flights from and to Campania, offering even more affordable travel options, and creating new jobs. We look forward to welcoming Neapolitan passengers on board and continue to support Italy’s regional connectivity and economic growth.
For travelers, Brașov presents access to Romania’s Carpathian landscapes and medieval charm. The city is a gateway to Transylvania, known for its gothic architecture, ski resorts, and castles. Chișinău, on the other hand, opens a lesser-known path into Moldova, where visitors can explore vast vineyards, traditional cuisine, and historical monasteries set in the countryside.
Tel Aviv provides a distinct escape with its scenic Mediterranean beaches, dynamic nightlife, and cultural highlights including Jaffa and the bustling Carmel Market. In contrast, Sharm El Sheikh—now served year-round—is a top choice for beach lovers and divers looking to enjoy warm waters and sunshine when much of Europe faces colder weather.
This expansion goes beyond adding destinations—it's a clear sign that Naples is becoming a central hub for budget-friendly global travel. With these new connections, passengers can skip the hassle of major layover airports and head straight to their chosen spots. For those flying out of Southern Italy, the result is more convenience, greater flexibility, and competitive fares.
