Hotel rooms in the style of Willy Wonka in New York: what they look like
Booking.com and Highgate Hotels are celebrating the release of the new Warner Bros. Pictures' new movie Wonka in theaters on December 15. The hotel staff is offering guests the opportunity to book their Wonka's Sweet Suites. Theweekend stay costs $12.15 as a memento of the movie's nationwide release day.
USA Today knows what these "sweet rooms" look like.
The collaboration between the companies allows guests to book rooms on a first-come, first-served basis and will take place at two different hotels - Park Lane New York in New York and Viceroy Santa Monica in Los Angeles - each one is like a small sweet country. "Inspired by the highly anticipated movie and complete with entertainment for the true sweet tooth," the company said in a statement.
"Wonka is a prequel to Roald Dahl's 1964 book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which has been adapted twice for the big screen. This new film tells the story of a younger, more idealistic Wonka who moves to London to open his own chocolate shop, but is threatened by a powerful cartel with a monopoly on sweets.
What kind of food is offered to guests
In addition to the fact that guests can stay at the hotel overnight, they can also enjoy exclusive treats. For example, fun and creative Wonka Magic Hat Gummies with four fruit flavors, life-size chocolate confectionery, a replica of the tree in Wonka's confectionery, and a decadent chocolate bar covered with marshmallows among cotton candy clouds, just like in the new movie. Booking.com tells about it.
Wonka's Sweet Suites in both cities can be booked for two pairs of guests at noon on December 13 with overnight stays on December 15 and 16. Airport transfers are included.
