Uchi Restaurant by Chef Tyson Cole
The sixth outpost from Chef Tyson Cole and Hai Hospitality. What the people of Houston, Dallas, Denver, Miami and Austin have tasted and loved can now be appreciated by you in Old Town Scottsdale.
Tyson Cole is the recipient of many awards, including the James Beard Awards. The restaurant's symbolic name was born from its first location in Austin and has kept the atmosphere ever since, only adding some tones and improving the service. One of the most anticipated new restaurants in Phoenix on the Japanese food scene.

Maintaining its level and reputation, Uchi is preparing to offer both hot and cool tastings to its Scottsdale diners. Traditional items on the menu will offer sushi and sashimi, enhanced yasaimono (vegetables), tempura and one of the signature desserts, Japanese cheesecake (creamy sorbet with date marmalade and pumpkin seed muesli).

Santo Restaurant by Robert Centeno and Armando Hernandez
Santo will take over The Vintage space in Arcadia. Robert Centeno was a James Beard semifinalist while still heading up the kitchen at Bacanora Restaurant, and Armando Hernandez is co-owner of two other gastronomic scenes: Cocina Chiwas and Tacos Chiwas. The joint project involves a programme of fine dining and a light atmosphere for comfort and appetite. Now this is a Phoenix restaurant that is definitely a must-try.

The gastronomic list will keep a balance between Cocina Chiwas and Espiritu, offering diners steaks of different cuts, saviche and a variety of salads.
A must-taste dish
Perhaps there will be no specific position here. We will only point out one thing: the restaurant uses both wood-fired and charcoal grill. We advise you to taste the difference of aromas and tastes obtained by such fiery methods.

The interiors of Flour & Thyme have a more casual style that feels more like a bistro. There is a two-sided fireplace on the patio and live plants pleasing to the eye and adding oxygen to the room. A super new addition to Phoenix's restaurant list.

For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant offers a variety of carefully selected dishes to satisfy a large number of finicky diners. Jacobo characterized the menu as "upscale tapas."
